You may be asking yourself, what is PMC?
PMC (Precious metal clay) is an amazing medium invented in the mid-90’s. It is made of micro particals of fine silver and clay binders. Its workability is similar to play doe. When firedin a kiln, the binders burn-off and you are left with a piece that is 15% smaller but made of 99.9% pure silver, more valuable than sterling. With all that said, you can make your own rings, pendants, earrings, beads, and broaches etc.
In February 2006, Katherine became PMC certified by one of the industries leading experts, CeCe Wire. She is a respected PMC artisan and author (“Creative Metal Clay Jewelry”).
